The council is now operating by holding its meetings via Zoom video conference. Details can be found on the councilís noticeboard and website. There is still an opportunity for members of the public to raise matters of concern. Anyone wishing to join the meeting should contact the clerk on the number below.
The parish council is continuing the process of filling the casual vacancy.
Councillors contribute to the work of the council by having a say about the things they care about; putting forward ideas for better services; responding to the needs and views of their residents; seeking the best outcomes for local issues; getting involved in decision-making by voting and accepting the corporate view of the council. The council usually meets on the second Tuesday of every month with meetings normally lasting about one hour. Councillors have asked that anyone considering applying to fill the vacancy provide a short letter of application, outlining why they want to become a councillor and what they would bring to the council, addressed to the clerk by 31 July.
