Burned House Lane repair works

LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (BURNED HOUSE LANE, HALL GATE LANE, CEMETERY LANE AND PARK LANE, PREESALL, WYRE BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice. 1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Burned House Lane, Hall Gate Lane, Cemetery Lane and Park Lane, Preesall at all approaches of the junction for approximately 80 metres. 2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works. 3. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0900 hours to 1700 hours on Wednesday day 8th July 2020 until Friday 10th July and Monday 13th July 2020 or until completion of the works within this period. 4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- Hall Gate Lane - Mill Lane - Stricklands Lane - Carr Lane - Broadpool Lane - Green Meadow Lane - Shard Lane - Shard Road - Mains Lane - Garstang New Road - Garstang Road - Blackpool Road - Garstang Road - Tarnacre lane - The Avenue - Garstang Bypass Road - Cockerham Road - Park Lane - Garstang Road - Main Street - Marsh Lane - Lancaster Road - Head Dyke Lane - Burned House Lane and vice versa The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out by LCC Highways. LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (LYNWOOD DRIVE (U22446) and LYNWOOD DRIVE (U22441), STALMINE WITH STAYNALL, WYRE BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2020 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice. 1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over the following lengths of highway in the Borough of Wyre; i. Lynwood Drive (U22446) from its junction with Hillside Drive to its junction with Carr End Lane. ii. Lynwood Drive (U22441) for its whole length from the junction with Lynwood Drive (U22446). 2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works. 3. The prohibition will be operative daily from 0800 hours to 1800 hours on Tuesday 21st July 2020 until Friday 24th July 2020 or until completion of the works within this period. 4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:- i. Lynwood Drive (U22446): Hillside Drive - Smithy Lane - Carr End Lane ii. Lynwood Drive (U22441): There is no diversion available - LCC Highways will liaise with residents to maintain access The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out by LCC Highways.
