Wyre Tidal Bore

A number of years ago the late councillor - June Jackson - had witnessed the tidal bore on the River Wyre and information on it was included on the section about Stalmine and Staynall on the Parish Council's website.

Rob Bridges, a Stockport man who was trying to film all the tidal bores in the North West of England, contacted the Parish Council to find out more information. However, despite putting feelers out to a number of people, no-one seemed to know much about it. 

Cllr Jackson provided information on where she had seen it and this was emailed to Rob in the hope that it would help him in his research.
